Directors Election - Saturday, May 7, 2022
Varner Creek Utility District has three (3) positions on the ballot in the May 7, 2022 General Election. Qualifications to apply for a place on the ballot are defined by the Texas Water Code (full code can be found at https://statutes.capitol.texas.gov/Docs/SDocs/WATERCODE.pdf.)
Texas Water Code Sec. 54.102. QUALIFICATIONS FOR DIRECTORS. To be qualified to serve as a Director, a person shall be at least 18 years old, a resident citizen of the State of Texas, and either own land subject to taxation in the District or be a qualified voter within the District.

Important Dates for May 7, 2022 Election
Wednesday, January 19, 2022 - First day to file for a place on the ballot. Applications may be picked up at the office of the District Administrator:
1st Capital Business Services, 310 E. Brazos, West Columbia, Texas.
Friday, February 18, 2022 - Last day to file for a place on the ballot.
Important: Incomplete applications will be rejected. A complete application includes a signed, notarized application; a signed Form CFCP; and a signed Form CTA. Links for all required documents will be posted before the first day to file.
Thursday, April 7, 2022 - Last day to register to vote.
Monday, April 25, 2022 - First day of early voting by personal appearance.
Tuesday, May 3, 2022 - Last day of early voting by personal appearance.
